Rudolf Laane, sculptor
Dutch artist Rudolf Laane (1961) creates sculptures in marble, bronze and glass. His works are classical with a contemporary touch. The majority of his work expresses both feminine and masculine elements, thus creating a compelling narrative. His work is wide ranging, with many of his sculptures showing an 'intimate embrace' to the spectator. He experiments with digital 3D-techniques in order to re-invent the classical art of mould making.
Rudolf's artworks are shown in art shows in the Netherlands and abroad; he is a member of the National Artist Association in the Netherlands.Curious in nature, Rudolf is always looking for new knowledge and new experiences.
